A few months ago, a salon themed as "Century of Modernity and Suhe Creek", presented by the Paper and Shanghai Mixc World, was successfully held in the City Exhibition Hall of Suhe Centre. Li Wei, Kokaistudios Associate Partner and Architecture Design director, has accepted the interview by the Paper, reminiscing about Suhe Creek’s past and speaking glowingly of its future along with other guests. As the design director in the project of Suhe Centre Central Park and its open commercial space—Shanghai Mixc World, Li Wei discussed how planning and design can reconnect the disappearing urban context of Suhe Creek and to create a waterfront public space that leads to an urban lifestyle.
