On March 8, 2019, Assembly 2019 was successfully hosted by Collective Contemporist and Dezeen Magazine in Shanghai. Kokaistudios’ Co-founder and principal architect Andrea Destefanis attended “Art Deco, Bauhaus, Memphis… and the Next Design Movement from China” panel, moderated by Beatrice Leanza, along with Manuel Goller from New Tendency, Lv Yongzhong, Virginie Moriette from Studio MVW.
