Opening in late August, Assemble by REEL is a new retail concept store located on Shanghai’s central shopping street West Nanjing Road that integrates retail, catering and home decoration into a mix-used lifestyle experience spread over 1,000 square meters.
Kokaistudios started with the idea of “assemble” to create a mini city where different types of shopping scenes can be assembled. The design includes 2 entrances and 4 main themed shopping spaces: church, park, skate field and gallery. Accurate scale control, diversified interesting scenes and creative material selection are the biggest design features of the project.
