In 2023, IDEAT and ASKO held the Design for the Extraordinary Award, inviting Andrea Destefanis and Filippo Gabbiani, Founders and Principal Architects of Kokaistudios, to join the jury panel. Through a rigorous and inclusive evaluation process, based on multiple dimensions such as smartness, sensuality, and sustainability, the 26 final winners of four awards, including public architecture, commercial spaces, built residence, and unbuilt residence, were announced.
The award ceremony was held on April 7th at Shanghai Hengfu Art Center. Filippo attended and presented the first prize of the commercial space category to the winner.
