The 2nd "Beijing Urban Renewal Best Practices" Award was jointly organized by Beijing Urban Renewal Alliance and Beijing Urban Planning Institute, and the awarded projects were selected through experts' evaluation and online voting. Beijing Galleria Instreet renovated by Kokaistudios stood out from the 151 entry projects and was recognized as an Outstanding Project.
"Beijing Urban Renewal Best Practices" aims to recognize projects that are contributing to the improvement of urban functions, the shaping of vibrant spaces, and the enhancement of people's well-being. With a leading effect as benchmarks in Beijing as well as in China, these awarded projects are capable to develop into a replicable and generalizable model of urban renewal.
