The recently completed Chinatown is the latest addition to Dubai Mall, the world’s largest and most visited retail and entertainment destination, and Emaar Mall’s flagship asset. In 2019, Kokaistudios was commissioned by Emaar Mall to be responsible for the architecture renovation and interior design of the commercial space of the project.
The new district, a contemporary take on the “Chinatown” concept, provides a uniquely themed shopping and leisure experience aimed at visitors and local residents alike, a journey through Asia’s architecture, fabrics, colors, tastes, smells and emotions, bringing the Orient to life.
