May 15, 2019, Shanghai International Creative City Design Innovation Forum was successfully held in Shanghai. Filippo Gabbiani, the co-founder and principal architect of Kokaistudios was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech entitled “Innovation through Renovation”. Based on the international and cultural nature of Shanghai, he shared the promotion and application of the renewal concept in the current practice of building protection and renovation in Shanghai.
