Located on Anfu Lu, Hunter Gatherer is an integration of market-style grocery and restaurant, with unique seed-to-table capabilities. Founded by a leading food company with an extensive network of farms and suppliers in China, the client chose to partner with Kokaistudios to develop an innovative project designed as a comfortable and friendly environment where Shanghai’s urban residents can shop, eat, learn and indulge in delicious healthy foods.

Split over 2 levels in a converted 1980’s building on one of Shanghai’s most beautiful streets the space is designed with the twin goals of ensuring a comfortable dining experience while also showcasing the extensive retail areas featuring both fresh produce and packaged foods.
